    Description

1930's Shapleigh's Diamond Brand 3 Pc Bamboo Fly Fishing Rod Made in St. Louis For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this very hard to find Sharpleigh's Diamond Brand split bamboo fly fishing rod. It is nominally an 8 1/2 foot three piece rod. However the top section is 3 inches shorter than it should be. It has a tip top on it but that is a replacement. The first eye has the red lining collectors call a ruby eye. It was made or at least marketed in St. Louis in the 1930s by Sharpleigh Hardware (better known for their Keen Kutter implements). We can't quite make out enough of the cursive writing on rod to determine the model. This rod casts a WF-6-F fly line well in our yard. Condition is used and we have described the shorter top section. The eye at the top of the middle section is there but one side is held by tape and will need to be re-wrapped. Otherwise we would call the condition good. We do ship worldwide but USA only on this one. What you see is the actual rod you will receive. We are selling it as found and as you see it in the photographs...without warranty expressed or implied. No returns or refunds so ask any questions before you buy. :-) About Me Vernon Nokes, P.O.
