    Description

1973 Romeo Di Giorgio 3 Classical Guitar. The guitar seems had very little play. The top with the exception of a few dings(light) there is no play marks. There is very little crazing on the bottom and sides. Luthier Glen Perry of Miami, replaced the fingerboard with an African ebony( the original made of inferior Brazilian ebony cracked) and very high quality frets. The action is lower than factory at 3mm on the 12th fret. The sound is typical of DG bossa nova guitars and will further “open” with playing.
The guitar comes with a set of Labella 900B, Baden Powell’s favorite. Also, the original hard case that closes but not in good shape!
The model Romeo was the only professional series guitar Di Giorgio made in 3 trims: 1,2, and 3, prior to Di Giorgio launching the Autor 3 and Tarrega in the 60’s. It sounds as well as any Autor 3. Many Brazilian music greats played one for both bossa nova and Brazilian popular music(MPB). Any questions, just ask! Don’t miss the opportunity to own a great guitar that’s 48 years young!
