    Description

Please see photos for reference. For sale is a used 1998 Esteve guitar in good condition. The model number on the label is 1.4ST-E (I think that's what it says). I am not the first owner of this guitar, I've had it for about five years. I've played it only few times, but for last few years I've had no time to practice, and it sat in my closet wrapped in cotton. The guitar was stringed with a nylon set that is currently on it, unfortunately, I don't know the brand. When I got the guitar, strings #5 (A) and #4 (D) already had wear on their spiral jackets, and sometime over last few years these two strings broke, and I removed them. I did not restring it, and since I am selling the guitar, unless the buyer asks me to restring it, its being sold as-is with current set of 4 strings (see photos for details).
Different users have different preferences to strings, some prefer nylon, some prefer metal, and then there are infinite variations in types and brands. There are string sets sold either in music shops or online starting from for a set, so if you buy the guitar, please be aware that you have to either add two strings that are missing or install a whole new set.
The sound box lacquer finish is in very good condition, with the exception as follows:
The top deck has three dents, approximately 1/8" across. These three dents are about midway between the rosette and a bridge just to the right of the 1st (high E) string (see photos for details). Also, two more dents, about 1/8" across as well, at the very bottom of the top deck
    (see photos for details)
    .
The fret boards are showing moderate amount of wear (see photos for details), but the surface feels even to the touch. Both the saddle and a nut appear to be in very good condition, and show no cracks or damage. The tuning pegs, screws and brass gears have mild patina, but show no damage. When turned, thumb screws turn freely.
The head carving has no dents, the lacquer finish on all surfaces of the head and neck is in excellent condition.
I've been taking lessons and played classical guitar on regular basis when I was younger, and I've watched and heard professional classical guitar players closeup; some of them were playing K+ guitars. This guitar acoustics are VERY good. It has a very clear, deep, classic Spanish sound.
If you are local, would like to pickup in person and pay cash, please contact me via eBay email system, and we can setup a time and a place to meet, so you can see it, hear it, and buy it, if you like it. Also, if you are picking up and paying cash, its 0 even.
    SHIPPING:
I prefer a local sale, with buyer picking the guitar in person, but if you are not local, I will pack and ship it. The guitar itself weighs about 3 lbs, 8 ozs, but to ship it safely, It will have to be packed in custom double box, with reinforcement (no additional charge for custom packing), so I estimate the weight of boxes and packing materials to be additional 3-5 lbs. The shipping insurance will be required.
The sale on this item is final. No returns (unless it arrives damaged in shipping).
