There is good reason that the Grijalva family have become house hold names in the cow horse world. These bits are made all by hand, in an open air shop and didn't have electricity until just a few years ago. Now, that electricity powers just a few lightbulbs. Every since element of this bit is by hand, with no power tools. This bit is from a collection, never been used, just on display. An earlier Eduardo Grijalva, Jr bit, with all the expertise and craftsmanship of his father. 5" mouth in a more modern style, with a tall almost spoon style port with copper rollers/players. Port measures 2.25" to the bottom of the mouth. Solid mouth, moves at the shanks. Seven style shanks that measure 7.5". Words cannot describe how stunning this bit is! Marked EG*. Double chain bit stabilizer. This bit is incredible to look at, but is a using bit. Great balance and feel with a nice weight to it. This stunning bit is show ring ready but would look fantastic as part of a collection.
