You are bidding on a vintage Horton 4 piece fishing rod in good condition.
This is the “Luckie” model made by Horton mfg bistol conn. USA. It is a 4 piece rpole with a cork handle and it is made of curled or folded tin sections that fit together. It is approx 8 feet long when assembled and it includes original cloth case that has a lot of damage and tears but still holds rod pieces nice. I am not quite sure of the weight or line limits of this old rod but it is sill pretty solid and should work for small stream and pond fish. It seems to fit together sort of rough. I think the ends and holes need to be cleaned out and lubricated a little. The cork handle is in good shape. It has been sitting for many year in the barn. It would be nice for restore or it would just look great as a vintage fishing decoration in yor den or lodge.
