Ceramic jug drum 12x14-inches. This style of drum is widely used in South Indian classical Carnatic music. Top hole diameter 4.5-inches. Taller and wider than the Matka or Jug Drum. Played by rapping on the outside, a range of sounds are possible. Please note these are individually hand made and have a variety innate defects such as pitting, surface cracks and unsymmetrical shapes. All Ghatams are sold as is. Includes rest and soft case.
