INSTALLATION:
Install unit in a dry location in foundation area of house. Wall mount on floor joist. Disconnect high voltage before servicing for safe and smart usage.
RANGE:
Unit comes equipped with a settings ON/OFF switch. Range of 45% to 90% humidity. Usually set at 50% humidity.

A humidistat (sometimes called a humidistat control) is a device that works with a home's heating and cooling system to automatically adjust the amount of moisture in the air to maintain a specific humidity level throughout the home. The Crawl Space Door Systems humidistat controller system automatically turns fans on when the humidity level rises above a preset limit to keep space dry and cool in order to prevent mold from occurring. It comes included with GFI protection to protect you from receiving electric shocks from any faults in the electrical device. It works by comparing the input current on the hot side to the output current on the neutral side. Caution: This is a high voltage device. Be sure to always use with caution and install the unit in a dry location area. We recommend that it be wall-mounted or attached to a floor joist.
