    Description

    Antique "The Divine Rod", 9' bamboo fly rod in very usable condition.  It is 9' +/- when the 3 sections are assembled.  There are 4 total tip sections, 2 have tip and end damage.  But there are 2 good tip sections and the remainder is not damaged.  The eye loops are all firmly attached and there doesn't seem to be any loose threading.  The cork grip is not rotted badly.  None of the wood is split or cracked, and it looks to be a solid piece of wood...not strips.  I have a limited knowledge of fly fishing, but assembled the rod and everything seems to be in working order.  The reel holder section is engraved, see photos.  It comes with a canvas bag, which as holes at the end, and the rigid rod holder.  Check out all the photos.  Maybe this is a rare rod?
