Hard to Find Sila Flex Perfexion Model 216 Med Fiberglass Fly Fishing Rod AS IS
For sale at a buy it now fixed price is this great fly fishing rod from Sila Flex.  It is a two piece 8 1/2 foot fiberglass rod...Perfexion Model 216 Med.  It comes in the original metal tube, and in the original rod sack..  It is a GBG weight rod...8 weight in modern terns.  It is a terrific Steelhead or Northern Pike Rod..
This has been used.  Condition is terrific in general but there is a problem with the reel seat.  The glue has failed between the seat and the blank.  With some effort you can pull the seat and grip off of the rod.  It needs to be re-glued.  A bigger problem is that the two hold down rings on the seat are stuck together.  This means that you cant move them to hold down the reel.  They are really stuck.  We have not reglued the seat and grip so the buyer can decide whether the best fix is to replace them.  The tube shows some use, but no dents.
