Due to issues within the USPS, some packages might be delayed. For the most part, it seems rods are taking extra time to ship. Please keep this in mind. Thank you!
Up for sale is a very nice Heddon #20 "Bill Stanley's Favorite" fly rod. Overall, this rod is in good shape for its age and it is ready to fish with or collect. All sections are full length, the ferrules fit tight, and this rod has a nice action (one tip has a minor set). The cork handle has some wear, but it still feels nice in your hand (it looks like it may have been cleaned at some point). Also, there is some excess varnish on the top portion of the cork; possibly the varnish was touched up? The last thing I need to mention about this rod is the varnish does have some blotchy areas where red fibers from the sock are stuck on the bamboo. You should be able to clean it up with some fine steel wool. This rod comes with the original tube and sock. The tube has some wear and it also has some writing on it. The label on the sock is almost torn off. Please see all of the photos and thank you for looking.

    • All products will be shipped via USPS; either First Class Package or Priority Mail. When packaging, I make sure there is no

    wiggle room

in the box. All reels and lures are shipped in sturdy boxes. Rods are shipped in USPS triangular shaped tubes, regular cardboard tubes, or PVC pipe.
I will not use a rod tube or box that feels weak.
