UPGRADE YOUR ATTIC FAN WITH THIS KIT
Replace all of your attic fans moving parts with higher quality, trouble-free JET FAN parts. This motor and thermostat are the same parts we use in the worlds best attic fan. No more awful humming from your attic fan while using only 1/2 the power and moving a little more air than your current attic fan. Includes motor, motor brackets, heavy metal hub and wing roots, aluminum wing blades, and thermostat with firestat for extra safety. If there were ever a fire in your house you would not want the attic fan to come on as it might feed more oxygen to the flames and cause them to spread faster. The firestat stops the fan if the attic temperature ever reaches 180 degrees F. which would only happen if there were a fire. The brackets hold the motor and are made for a 15" diameter attic fan (14" blade). Brackets consist of three arms that attach to your fan stack with 1/4 inch diameter nylock nuts and bolts which are included. Blade and motor are matched and pre-assembled. The use of this kit requires that you already have attic fan housing with a 15" diameter stack. Make sure the housing that you have has at least 6 1/2 inches vertical clearance to dome above bolt holes where three bracket arms are mounted to stack. Also, make sure the housing that you have is worth upgrading, especially if it is used. You may have to fashion a better screen to stop birds and squirrels from getting into it. You may have to paint your housing, if you want it to last as long as these parts.

Kit is already assembled for replacement of your existing attic fan parts. 120 V, 1.7 Amp, 1/8 hp, 1050 rpm motor, 1200 c.f.m. when you use the motor's black wire and
120 V, 1.1 Amp, 1/15 hp, 1050 rpm motor, 900 c.f.m.
airflow when you use the motor's red wire. Unused wire remains capped.
Unit is brand new,  manufactured by Jet Fan Attic Fans for roof-top or gable wall fans. You can oil the motor, but even if you don't, it will still last over 10 years assuming your attic has the proper amount on intake venting. (about 500 square inches of net free venting or ten standard size mushroom roof vents or ten 8 by 16 inch eave vents) If you do oil it, use only 20 weight non-detergent electric motor oil or "Zoom Oil".
