This Vintage Lamiglas Esprit Graphite Fly Rod F909 - 9' i
s in nice, ready to fish condition.
The guides, wraps and reel seat are all nice.
The rod does show some signs of use in the way of appearance, but of course, does not affect the fishing ability of the rod
in any way.
There are some tiny air bubbles under the finish on the rod where the label writing is located that makes the rod look like it has a few light specs
in this area,
making the entire label just a little hard to read.
Most of the label can be easily read, however, and it does say that the rod is 4 1/16 ounce, but can't make out the line weight for sure. I believe it says line weight 9.
Other than the tiny specs near the label, the rest of the rod has a decent appearance with a little loss of some of the finish luster and some stain on the cork and a tiny piece of cork is missing at the very top, but nothing to worry about.  The threads of the reel seat show a few typical type scratches, but does not affect anything mechanically.  One thing to note is that the very end of the handle can be removed from or inserted into the female ferrule section easily, so there is a third piece as you can see in the pictures.  I believe this is designed so the rod is not too long for storage.  It comes with a beautiful cloth sleeve as shown and its own metal tube that shows your typical stains and marks that are common on a tube like this, but protects the rod just as intended (I am not sure if the tube and sleeve are original for this rod).  What you see and what I have described is what you get.  See photos (white reflective lines, lighter shaded areas, bright spots or specks in the photos are due to the camera flash).  I will start the bidding at with No Reserve.  The winner will pay the Priority Mail Shipping Charge according to location.
