This premium timbale set from LP and the Escovedo family — patron saints of the American Latin jazz movement and home to percussionist Sheila E. — includes all that any aspiring percussionist needs to lead a band. Its engraved steel shells, chrome plated and crowned with alluring black nickel hardware, exhibit a full body and piercing rimshot to really cut to the heart of any Latin-music lover. LP’s patented Top Tuning innovation means you can tune these timbales as easily as you’d tune a concert snare drum. Included with the set is a heavy-duty double-braced adjustable stand with anti-rattle sleeve and die-cast geared tilter, for dependable setup and noise-free performance onstage or in the studio. You also get a cowbell bracket for creating claves and polyrhythms, along with a pair of timbale sticks for instant gratification.
