    Description

    You are bidding on a Lionel 2436 ILLUMINATED OBSERVATION CAR .  It is approximately eleven and one-half inches long.  I purchased a "sight unseen" box of Lionel items and this was among them.  Because I did not receive any tracks, I am auctioning all of the individual items "as is" for parts because they are not tested.  As you can see in the photos, this observation car has its original box. The box shows wear and has old masking tape on its ends.  The car appears to have been played with by a heavy handed child as the word "SUMMIT" looks like it was covered with a black marker and rubbed and there is more marker lines on the top of the car.  Some of the silver paint is lost and it is dirty.  I have not cleaned, fixed, or altered this item.  Perhaps someone that is handy with silver paint can restore its outside surface.  All the train parts that I am auctioning are untested and sold "as is" for parts.  If you have questions about this auction please ask before you bid and I will respond promptly.
