Welcome to my auction of this Lionel Post War 2551 Banff Park Observation in OB ( NO RESERVE!!)
Description:
Lionel produced the Canadian Pacific Banff Park Observation Car No. 2551
was available only in 1957. Silhouette inserts of people are present on both sides of the windows. It has
die-cast four-wheel passenger trucks equipped with one magnetic coupler.
This a flat channeled aluminum observation car that is silver with gold lettering and a chestnut or some say maroon striping.

car is in nice condition
and not a lot of wear at all! The
shell patina is nice and clean and this has been bench tested and the light works.
Its shows very little wear on the nose cap on top and the edges of the cap on the other side, see
pictures
. The wheels and rollers show very light wheel wear,
see
pictures.
This
would be a great car to cap off your 2296W Canadian
Pacific
set. The box is square shows some wear on pone side and has tape repairs for the flaps "one side only." The other side flaps are all intact with no repairs.
