This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.
This postcard was shipped from The Netherlands to the USA by Lotje.
On the front of this  old postcard is the portrait of two Cocker Spaniel puppies or  young dogs sitting in front of some red shutters.  Around the perimeter is a lovely scalloped edge.  On the back is some handwriting in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands, a Nederland stamp and a faded postmark.    It was originally printed in the Netherlands by Krüger circa 1963.
Measurements are approximately:  3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard. Aside from some very minor signs of wear,  this postcard is still easy to see and appreciate!
