    Description

    Orvis Battenkill bamboo flyrod 4 1/8 oz. Beautiful condition. Ferrules fit nice and rod has had little use.  Rod was made in 1979. Serial number 83057. 2 piece rod with 1 tip. 2/1. Battenkill brown thread wraps. Cap on tube is stamped Orvis Battenkill  8' 4 1/8oz HGD6 1 Tip. Casts very nice with a wf6f line but I preferred a wf5f line. Buyer to pay Priority Mail shipping and insurance.  Rod will be shipped in a heavy cardboard tube. Very nice bamboo rod for collecting or use.
