Superb!.  This is one of the most beautiful and practical fiberglas fly rods ever made.  In his classic book, Tackle II, Ernest Schweibert ranks the Golden Eagle right up there with the best from the 'glas era.  And it's becoming more collectible with each passing year. This rod is 2 pcs. and comes with the original sock and and the original, stamped premium metal tube.  You won't find a better example.  I'm selling it because I inherited it as part of an estate and I don't need it.  Hoping that this Golden Eagle will land in then hands of a fly fishing angler/collector with an appreciation for its fine craftsmanship and historical significance.  Please contact me if you have questions.
