    Vintage Orvis Impregnated Battenkill Bamboo Fly Rod.

    Length = 7-1/2'.
    Weight = 3-7/8 ounce.
    H.D.G (6).
    2/2. Two piece, two tips.
    This rod may have been a custom order as I can't find any information on it specifically on Orvis' data base page. I think it was made in 1983 as others were with very close serial numbers. The tube cap is factory stamped with the initials E.M.W. that I think was the intended owner of the rod. But you may certainly know more about it than me!
    This great old rod comes with it's original tube, cap and sock that look great.
