Rare, VG Vintage SELMER PARIS METAL Bb CLARINET

Description

This is a rare Selmer Paris silver-plated metal clarinet, ser no 1943; it's in overall very good condition, needing a rebuild to be playable. Physical issues are pretty minor: edge of the bell flattened back a little; a small enlargement, done a bit crudely, of the oiling port on the adjustable barrel (see closeup photo). All keys moving freely; adjustable barrel screws in and out easily. Cosmetically, it appears to not have much plating wear; and, it looks as though a small custom engraving on the bell of someone's initials has been polished down (again, see closeup photo). No case.
