    Description

Sergei De Jonge is an elite guitar maker. His  guitars have long had a reputation for power, balance, and playability. This guitar is no exception. This is a great looking, playing, and sounding Sergei de Jonge classical guitar dated June 4, 1983. It has a very fine grained spruce top, ebony fretboard, rosewood bridge, back, & sides.  It has a 665mm scale length and measures 53.5mm at the nut. The  E strings are  3.75mm and 2.75mm at the 12th fret
This is a very impressive, powerful guitar.   It has a very solid, balanced feel and has a tremendous amount of headroom. It is impeccably built and in very good ++ condition with some minor finish checking.   Overall it shows very little wear and there is no string rash.
The original Van Ghent tuners work smoothly.   The frets are in very good condition. He used a head block & dovetail construction which provides a very solid, stable joint and make neck resets much easier.  The uses 8 fan braces and appears to be a modified Ramirez pattern.   The top appears to be French polish with the rest of the instrument being lacquer.
The guitar comes with a serviceable hardshell case.
    U.S. sales only.
