is a rather simple but truly effective sound maker. Through simple manipulation of a steel spring attached to a resonator, you can create unexpected sounds of elemental power.
With endless variations to bring forth, this thunder drum can be drummed on the hard membrane, with damping and pulsing through the resonator hole, or striking and hammering on the string.
