A Tan Tan or Rebolo is the perfect percussion instrument for solid bass or bottom thump in outdoor or indoor and small acoustic ensemble settings. The Tan Tan is played in a sitting or standing position by one hand beating the drum head (low tone) while the other hand taps the wood body of the drum (high or sharp tone).
