    Description

Vintage 1920's Clarinet - Jean Marbeau Paris - Complete w/ original Case
This was my Dad's clarinet from High School (maybe Grammer School?).  He graduated HS in 1929, so it must be older than that.  I believe it is complete.  It has been in storage for well over 90 years.  I believe it is complete, but look at the photos.  The wood looks good, I see no cracks or what looks like damage.  The metal all has an aged patina look. But again I do not see any obvious missing or damaged parts.  Each wood piece is imprinted with "Jean Marbeau, Paris".  The bell also has "LP B" lightly imprinted.  The mouthpiece says "ZYLOI, U.S.A." and the metal clip says "BETTONY, BOSTON".  Cork seems ok.  Pads are aged from missing to present.
Case is made of wood with some kind of black textured cover (paper?). It is used and shows wear on corners.  Metal buckles are rusty.  Inside is a dark red felt that looks aged.
Also included is an attachable music stand, homemade cloth cleaning swab w/ weight attached, several empty reed holders from "Ferguson Music House, San Jose, Cal."
