    Description

    This auction is for an original 1940’s South Bend Split Bamboo Model 47-9 Fly Rod with original Sleeve and Tube. The 9 foot fly rod was designed for trout and bass and is in excellent vintage condition. The original wraps on the guides are in beautiful condition and the cork handle looks almost new. The extra tip section does have a little warp split to it, as shown in the photos. The South Bend metal tube is in good condition with some vintage wear.
