Vintage / Antique Silver-Plated Bb Clarinet, Cavalier Elkhardt Indiana #60196 +

A wonderful vintage/antique silver-plated clarinet, as pictured.
From a local estate, the clarinet has some heavy tarnish but seems to be in very good condition. I don't notice any egregious dents/dings or scuffs -- I'll bet with a thorough polishing, it'd look quite stunning.
The bell is marked "Cavalier" and "Elkhardt, Ind". The serial number is engraved on the reverse: "60196".
Seems to be a Bb, but I'm not certain. With the mouthpiece detached, it measures 22.75-inches long. Comes with a lyre and the instrument has a built-in spot to screw it in.
The keys and pads look surprisingly decent -- I was able to play "Low E, F G A B C D E F open G, A B C D E F G A B High C" rather easily -- a few of the keys feel like like they could "close" a little better, but there's nothing extremely out of wack. Almost certainly needs a tune-up, but it's more on the "working"-side of the spectrum.
Includes some lipstick-stained reeds and a dried up cork-grease. The cork on the mouthpiece valve needs to be repaired. Case shows heavy wear from age.
