In great condition. Fished very little. Fenwick sticker is still on the cork!
Vintage Fenwick FS83C Casting Rod.
Length = 8-1/4'. (251cm).
1/4 to 5/8 ounce Lure.
6-15 lb. Line.
5-1/2 ounce rod weight. (156 gm).
Two sections.
MADE IN THE U.S.A.
This great old Fenwick has a serial number of R208073. Making this specific rod being built in 1978-1979.
All of the cork is in terrific condition. The original Fenwick sticker is still on the lower butt section. The reel seat shows little wear and secures a reel as it should, zero cross threading. All eyes and wraps are as tight as the day it was built. There are actually 9 eyes on this rod plus the tip, making this a very "whippy" rod. Ferrule connections are perfectly snug. This rod has never been modified and both sections are the same length, original tip.
I do NOT have the triangle plastic Fenwick case to this rod or the sock. The rod will be very carefully wrapped in foam wrap and perfectly boxed and then shipped. I ship many rods here and get good feedback from my Buyers about my packaging (please see my feedback)..
