Vintage Fenwick USA FS-83 2 Pc 8-1/4' (8'3") Fiberglass Casting Rod 6-17 Lb VGC

This vintage Fenwick FS-83 casting rod, made in the USA, is in very good condition, with a few very minor finish scuffs/scratches, otherwise no flaws. There is an indent around the black foam handle, near the base, possibly from being bound with a tie-wrap or something similar. There is also some wear on the knurled anodized aluminum reel seat nuts, otherwise the seat is clean. The 6 single foot guides and tip are all true, tight, and clean. The graphics are pristine, and read "Fenwick, Made In USA, FS 83, 8-1/4', 1/4-5/8 Oz. Lure, 6-17 Lb. Line". The black rubber butt cap has 'Fenwick' with the Eagle logo. From my research, I believe the rod was made in 1978 or 1979. The rod weighs 6.8 ounces. Please let the pics be your guide when bidding, as they are part of the description.
