    This is an excellent condition Japanese fishing kit - rod and reel kit in a very nice wodden box
    The reel is in the original box.
    The reel is small approximately 2 1/4" in diameter
    The rod can be assembled in 2 configurations
    Long is approxmately 82" (5 pieces together)
    Short is approximately 66" (4 pieces together)
    The rod is marked "EAGLE" - Tokyo Japan
    The rod has a black laquer finish
    The shape of the rod is hexagonal and irregular which is a tell-tale sign of a split bamboo rod, however it is not marked in any way.
