Vintage Pflueger Trump Baitcast or Spincast Rod - Fiberglass - 6’0”

Description

Up for bids is a vintage Pflueger Trump fiberglass bait casting or spin casting rod (aka push-button rod). The Trump series of rods were manufactured by Shakespeare during the late 1960's, and are essentially identical to the famous Wonderods, except for cosmetic differences. I believe the model number of this rod is either 400B or 421P. Rods fitting the appearance and description of this rod appear in the 1967 through 1969 Pflueger catalogs. It seems impossible for me to tell if it is a baitcasting rod or a spincasting rod.
It is a two-piece rod, however the handle may also be detached.
This is a nice Made in USA rod from the era of Gadabout Gaddis. The label is intact, however, there does not seem to be a model number printed on the rod, hence my uncertainty as to the model.
