You are bidding on a
Vintage Shakespeare Howald Process Fiberglass Fly Fishing Rod with Spiral Markings.
This is a 2 piece - 7 ¾’ rod.
It’s in very nice condition with tight wrappings, clean guides, a clean cork handle that’s intact and a black metal reel seat that is unmarked.
There is a little play where the reel seat joins the cork handle which could be remedied without much of a problem.
The rod was manufactured in the USA in the early 1970s using the Howald Process.
The rod will be shipped in the metal tube shown in the pictures but I’m not sure that either it or the sock are correct for the rod.
