    Description

    Print on blank reads 7080 XLF 5' 6" 3 3/8 oz. Actual length is 5' 10" so possibly this one has a tip section from a 6' XLF. The blank is straight and the ferrules match and fit exactly so this used rod was a great candidate for a new grip and guides. 10" cork grip is new with repurposed Fenwick sliding bands. The first 2 guides are high-frame Fuji SIC and the 4 running guides and tiptop are Fuji Alconite. Wraps are done in Gudebrod 337 maroon and the finish is Perma Gloss. New high quality 2-piece rod bag. Obviously not a mint collectible, but a terrific rod to fish. Beautiful ultralight action. Will ship in an old Flambeau PVC case for protection.
