Vintage Wright & McGill Fre-Line Pack Rod 7 1/2 ft.  # 4 FLR  Mike Lane Model. Rod is in excellent, lightly used condition. This is a early rod with the amber color fiber glass blanks. Mike Lane was a well known Louisiana sportsman I tried to do some research on this rod but found very little info. I've seen dozens &  dozens of W& M pack rods over the years but this is first one of these I've seen. I think it was made to be mostly a spinning rod but in a pinch a fly reel will work. Comes with the original sock & tube. Tube shows some storage wear but is very solid & no dents.  A very scarce rod in nice condition!
