Beautiful, Vintage, Herters Bamboo Fly Rod. 8' 2/3 4-6wt.est. Excellent Condition. Made in England! You get the history and American heritage of Herters and the Craftsmanship and Quality of a United Kingdom Bamboo Fly Rod.  All Sections correct length and straight as an Arrow. note: 1 of 3 Tip Sections is 37'' the other 2 along with the Butt Section are 48''. Quality Nickle/Silver Ferrules slide in tight, and Pop! out smooth. Nickle/Silver Chromed Stripping Guide, Snake Guides, Tip Guides,  Hook Keeper, and Winding's are Firm and Tight and have been treated with 2-coats FLEX COAT Color Preserver and Thread Sealant. Then 2-coats of Spar-Urethane was brushed on over the sealant along with the entire Rod. I Believe Original Sock and Aluminum Tube shown included(End Caps are missing). Also there are 2 small solidified varnish droplets on 1 48'' Tip Section. This is an Amazing Bamboo Fly Rod. The Small Diameter Cane by the Hook Keeper is the same Diameter as most 3pc. 2nd sections. Yet this Rod could easily handle a 6wt. line and Bass. Just a Beautiful High Quality 2pc. United Kingdom Bamboo Rod, ready to fish.
